Background: As of Sunday, 18 February 2018, Eastern Ghouta cities and towns experienced one of the worst military attacks led by the Syrian government and Russia against hundreds of civilian objects and targets, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians according to Syrians for Truth and Justice/STJ researchers who are there in the area.
